On May 6, 2013, a joint exhibition of photographs and publications from the Presidential Library and the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) opened, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Participants of the opening ceremony, held under the slogan "Heydar Aliyev-90," first laid flowers at the bust of the national leader in the foyer of the Presidential Library, and then toured the exhibition of photographs and publications in the Conference Hall.
Speaking about the merits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people, the library director, Mail Ahmadov, noted that on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, who earned the title of national leader, one should remember the enormous constructive work that he had accomplished throughout the history of Azerbaijan, and his life-saving mission is vividly portrayed before our eyes.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) Aslan Aslanov, highlighted the 90th anniversary of the birth of the national leader of Azerbaijan, the founder of our independent statehood, the prominent figure of the 20th century, Heydar Aliyev, with great enthusiasm. Once again, his merits to the people are remembered, and the bright memory of the Great leader is respected with deep admiration. The entire meaningful life of Heydar Aliyev, full of struggle, was dedicated to serving his people and homeland, which he loved more than life itself.
In an interview with AZERTAC, the Scientific Secretary of the Presidential Library, Kamala Sarijalinskaya, expressed gratitude to the agency's leadership for organizing the exhibition and emphasized that the exposition, reflecting the biography of the national leader, has generated significant interest among readers.
