Nizami Ganjavi (1141–1209), a classic of Azerbaijani literature and one of the greatest masters of world poetry, significantly influenced the development of Eastern and global literary and philosophical thought through his rich creative work. The works of the poet, who lived and wrote in the city of Ganja during the 12th century, stand out for their high artistic and aesthetic value, humanistic ideas, and deep philosophical content. The famous "Khamsa" ("Quintet") collection of poems, which represents the pinnacle of Nizami Ganjavi's creative work, includes the following works: "Makhzan-ul-Asrar" ("The Treasury of Mysteries"), "Khosrov and Shirin", "Leyli and Majnun", "Seven Beauties", and "Isgandarnameh". Universally human values such as justice, humanism, spiritual perfection, knowledge and wisdom, love, loyalty, and human dignity have found their brilliant artistic expression in these works. For centuries, Nizami's heritage has not only been an integral part of Azerbaijani culture and literary thought, but it also exerted a powerful influence on the literature and art of Eastern nations. His works have been translated into various languages and have taken their rightful place among the valuable masterpieces of world literature. The research, preservation, and promotion of the heritage of Nizami Ganjavi, a national and spiritual asset of the Azerbaijani people, constitute a key priority of the cultural policy pursued in our country. The virtual exhibition presents books, articles, photos, and other materials related to Nizami Ganjavi's life and work, his place in world literature, and the research and publication of his legacy.
