The Presidential Library has presented a virtual exhibition titled “Yusif Samadoghlu – 90” on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, People’s Writer, and renowned public figure Yusif Samadoghlu.

The virtual exhibition brings together selected publications and scholarly studies that reflect the rich creative legacy of the distinguished writer, his place in the history of Azerbaijani literary thought, and his contributions to national culture.

The exhibition features works by Yusif Samadoghlu published in different years, including selected short stories and novels, as well as monographic studies dedicated to his creative path and public activity. It also includes encyclopedic publications covering the stages of development of modern Azerbaijani literature, the literary processes of the 20th–21st centuries, and the works of prominent writers, along with scholarly studies examining various issues in literary history.

Materials devoted to the history of the Samadoghlu family and the roots of the Vakiloglu lineage occupy a special place in the exhibition. At the same time, the exhibition includes studies dedicated to the life and work of other prominent representatives of Azerbaijani literature, including Samad Vurgun.

The “Yusif Samadoghlu – 90” virtual exhibition is intended as a valuable source of information for the general public, researchers, and readers. The exhibition aims to stimulate interest in the creative legacy of the outstanding writer Yusif Samadoghlu and to introduce his literary world more closely to the younger generation.
