A special collection dedicated to the scholarly and creative legacy of the well-known journalist, publicist, writer, and researcher, Honored Cultural Worker Anvar Chingizoglu, has been established in the “Literary Heritage” subsection of the “Collections” section of the Presidential Library. The collection encompasses the main areas of the researcher’s many years of scholarly activity.
Anvar Chingizoglu is known in Azerbaijani historiography for his studies on the history of the khanates period, issues of diplomacy, and the history of Iran. His scholarly work covers the ethnogenesis, ethnology, ethnography, and folklore of Turkic peoples, as well as the fundamental problems of historiography and source studies.
The materials included in the collection provide comprehensive, fact-based information on Azerbaijan’s historical regions, khanates, tribal and clan unions, as well as the activities of individual historical figures. These publications serve as important sources for the study of the country’s socio-political, cultural, and administrative history, as well as for conducting regional historical and genealogical research.
