There are people who, after leaving this world, continue to live in the hearts and memories of others through their actions, earning respect and admiration even years later. One of them is the writer, journalist, genealogist, member of the Eurasian Writers’ Union, Azerbaijan Union of Journalists and Azerbaijani Historical and Genealogical Society, recipient of the "Gizil Gelem" ("Golden Pen") award, distinguished cultural figure, and Wikipedian Anvar Chingizoglu (Anvar Chingiz oglu Farajov). Anvar Chingizoglu conducted significant research in the field of Azerbaijani khanates history, diplomatic history, and history of Iran, being the author of over 100 monographs, books, textbooks, scientific-publicistic articles, and various publications in the periodical press on these subjects. The main priorities of his scientific activity are ethnogenesis, ethnology, ethnography, folklore of Turkic peoples, and current issues in historiography and source studies. Anvar Chingizoglu dedicated 30 years of his life to collecting, systematizing, and publishing regional ethnographic and folklore materials, leaving a significant legacy in this field.
