The Presidential Library has presented to readers a virtual exhibition titled "Yusif Mammadaliyev - 120" on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of academician Yusif Mammadaliyev, a prominent scientist and public figure, one of the organizers of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The virtual exhibition showcases, in addition to the academician’s scientific works, monographs, biobibliographical indexes, and bibliographic reference books dedicated to his life and activity. The exhibition includes fundamental research, popular science works, collections of selected works, and commemorative publications published in Azerbaijani and Russian.

These publications highlight the role of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev in the development of Azerbaijani science, his groundbreaking research in the field of petrochemistry, as well as his contributions to the establishment and formation of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The materials displayed at the exhibition comprehensively reflect Yusif Mammadaliyev’s areas of activity as one of the founders of the Azerbaijani scientific school.

The virtual exhibition also features books that capture topics such as the history of the Azerbaijani oil industry, modern chemistry, and the technology of aviation fuels, as well as the scientific heritage of Azerbaijani chemists. Additionally, it contains encyclopedic and biographical materials that outline Yusif Mammadaliyev’s life paths and scientific activities.

The virtual exhibition, designed for the scientific community, researchers, students, and a broad readership, provides a platform for the systematic study of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev's scientific legacy, serving as a reliable scientific and informational resource, aimed at preserving, researching, and passing this legacy on to future generations.
