The Presidential Library has launched a virtual presentation and book exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Magsud Ibrahimbeyov
In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated February 13, 2025, a number of events are being held to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the outstanding writer, playwright and public figure Magsud Ibrahimbeyov. In line with that order, the Presidential Library of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared a virtual book presentation entitled “Virtual View of the Literary Heritage of Magsud Ibrahimbeyov”.
The presentation offers a thorough overview of the writer's rich creative path and literary legacy. Additionally, the virtual presentation includes annotations in two languages for the books of M. Ibrahimbeyov preserved in the collections of the Presidential Library, published in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English. Furthermore, selected scenes from films based on the writer's works are also showcased. To ensure ease of use, all texts in the presentation have been narrated.
The presented publications, along with visual and audio materials, provide an opportunity to convey Magsud Ibrahimbeyov’s diverse creative legacy to a wider audience.
The Presidential Library has also created and launched a virtual book exhibition titled “Magsud Ibrahimbeyov – 90”. This exhibition showcases the rich creative legacy of Magsud Ibrahimbeyov. It presents users with a collection of the writer's works published in various languages over the years and books that encompass his literary, journalistic, and social activities, all in a virtual exhibition format.
The primary aim of the prepared virtual presentation and book exhibition is to convey Magsud Ibrahimbeyov's literary heritage to future generations and to make his works more accessible through modern technological means.
