The Presidential Library has presented a virtual exhibition titled “Naila Velikhanli – 85” on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Azerbaijani historian, Academician Naila Velikhanli. The aim of the exhibition is to reflect the rich and multifaceted scholarly legacy of the academician, her significant role in the development of Azerbaijani historical science, and the contribution of her research to the formation and advancement of national historiography.
The exhibition features materials related to the life and scholarly activity of Academician Naila Velikhanli, as well as her fundamental works, authored and edited by her. These publications comprehensively address the main stages in the history of Azerbaijan from ancient times to the Middle Ages and modern times, including issues of statehood, military and political processes, culture and civilization. Particular attention is also given to problems of regional history and historiography.
