








































Naila Mammadali gizi Valikhanli is a prominent Azerbaijani historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, and academician. She was elected a corresponding member of ANAS in 2001 and a full member in 2007. For many years, Naila Valikhanli has made significant contributions to the development of Azerbaijani historical science, as well as scientific study and promotion of the national historical heritage. The scientist is recognized for her fundamental research on medieval history, source studies, historiography, and the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. Her scientific works have been highly appreciated within the country and in the international scientific community, bringing new approaches to the study of current issues in historical science. As the director of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Naila Valikhanli has consistently worked to organize the museum's operations in line with modern standards, protect the nation's historical and cultural heritage, and present it to the general public. In addition to her scientific and pedagogical activities, she also played a significant role in training young historians.
