Путешествие Государя Императора Николая II на Восток: 1890-1891
A unique three-volume edition dedicated to the grand round-the-world journey of the heir to the Russian throne, Nicholas Alexandrovich, the future Emperor Nicholas II. From October 23, 1890, to August 4, 1891, he visited Greece, Egypt, India, China, Japan, and Siberia, exploring Eastern cultures while fulfilling an important diplomatic mission. This journey became the final stage of his education and entered history thanks to the detailed records of E.E. Ukhtomsky, who accompanied the Grand Duke. Richly illustrated and translated into several European languages immediately after its release, the edition not only reveals the atmosphere of the exotic countries of the 19th century but also reflects the Russian Empire's perspective on the East. Today, this book is recognized as a valuable book monument and has been included in the State Register of Book Monuments of Azerbaijan, affirming its historical and cultural significance.
