The latest (143rd) volume of the multi-volume edition “Development Is Our Goal”, which systematically reflects the activities of Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been published and added to the collection of the Presidential Library. This volume covers significant political events at the national and international levels during February–April 2025, as well as the speeches and meetings of the head of state.

The new edition includes materials pertaining to the meeting between the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan during his official visit to our country, the President’s participation in the Azerbaijan-Pakistan business forum, his meetings with the Presidents of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as his working visit to the Republic of Turkey.

This volume of the multi-edition publication includes the transcripts of President Ilham Aliyev’s speeches delivered at both the 11th ministerial meeting within the framework of the “Southern Gas Corridor” Advisory Council and the 3rd ministerial meeting of the “Green Energy” Advisory Council.

This volume enables readers to familiarize themselves with materials pertaining to the visits of the head of state to Aghdam district and Khankendi city, his review of reconstruction works on individual homes and infrastructure in Ballija village of Khojaly district, as well as his meetings with newly resettled villagers; the publication also incorporates records of the participation of the President of Azerbaijan in the opening ceremony of the newly reconstructed automobile road from Sarsang reservoir to Umudlu village in Aghdara district, his attendance at the mosque opening in Sugovushan village (Aghdara district), his meeting with resettled residents in Hasanriz village, and his inspection of restored housing and infrastructure projects in the area.

The present volume contains the full transcripts of President Ilham Aliyev’s address at the 12th Global Baku Forum - organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center under the theme “Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities” - along with his interview with Euronews television during the Forum, as well as comprehensive documentation of his meetings with high-level international delegates who visited Azerbaijan to participate in this significant event.

Volume 143 of the multivolume edition “Development Is Our Goal” presents, in chronological order and with documentary evidence, President Ilham Aliyev’s political activities, governance philosophy, diplomatic initiatives, and the reconstruction processes implemented in the liberated territories. This publication serves not only as an important resource in the Presidential Library’s collection for researchers, historians, and public representatives but also stands as a valuable chronicle of contemporary Azerbaijani history.
