The Presidential Library has prepared a virtual exhibition commemorating the anniversary of the birth of Fatali Khan Khoyski, a prominent Azerbaijani political figure. Fatali Khan Khoyski left an invaluable mark on history as a distinguished representative of a generation of selfless intellectuals in the struggle for Azerbaijan’s freedom and independence during the national and cultural renaissance of the early 20th century.
During the establishment and early stages of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Fatali Khan Khoyski, through the government cabinets he led, implemented consistent measures to organize democratic state governance and achieved significant achievements in the fields of economy, education, culture, healthcare, and military. He also contributed to international recognition of Azerbaijan's independence and the establishment of diplomatic relations. As one of the signatories of the historic Declaration of Independence, he played a pioneering role in strengthening the traditions of Azerbaijani statehood.
