Azerbaijan's renowned composer and Honored Art Worker Javanshir Guliyev has donated 23 copies of 13 books and sheet music collections related to his work to the Presidential Library. These publications are considered significant resources for preserving, studying, and presenting Azerbaijan's musical heritage to the public.
The donated publications include the author's various works from different periods, such as "Quartets," "Overture," "Songs of the Homeland," "Music Notebook of the Sun," "Laments of Mushfig," the four-volume "Selected Songs: For Singing with Piano," as well as "Divan: Collection of Works," and other publications. These collections reflect the composer’s rich creative universe and demonstrate how skillfully he incorporates Azerbaijani motifs into classical music genres.
The presented books and note collections enhance the Presidential Library’s Art Literature Collection, serving as valuable resources for art scholars, music researchers, and students. Additionally, these publications provide a broad readership with the opportunity to become closely acquainted with Javanshir Guliyev's multifaceted creativity.
