Meetings with scholars, intellectuals, and public figures at the Presidential Library have become a tradition. Director of the Nation's Library of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Ayhan Tuğlu, was a guest at the Presidential Library.

Professor Afet Abbasova, Director of the Presidential Library, provided the guest with detailed information about the library's holdings, activities, information resources, main structures, and services offered to visitors. During the meeting, opportunities for collaboration, sharing experience, and developing joint projects between the two libraries were discussed. The meeting with Ayhan Tuğlu, Director of the Nation's Library of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, was attended by Elmira Alakbarova, Director of the Archive of Socio-Political Documents of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Gular Aliyeva, Director of Book House LLC of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; and Nazim Mustafa, Advisor to the Director of the Presidential Library.

Ayhan Tuğlu emphasized that the brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are also developing in the fields of science and culture, and noted the importance of closer cooperation among the libraries of Turkic states.

The Nation's Library of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, located in Ankara, was opened in 2020 and has quickly become one of the most prominent scientific and cultural centers in the region. The library's collection contains more than 4 million 732 thousand printed resources. This includes e-books, magazines, scientific articles, archival documents, and more.

The library also undertakes special projects aimed at collecting, organizing, and distributing publications related to the Turkic world. The idea of establishing the "Union of National Libraries of the Turkic World" was brought to the forefront through the initiative of Ayhan Tuğlu, and discussions on this matter are ongoing.

Director of the Presidential Library, Professor Afet Abbasova, expressed her gratitude to Director of the Nation’s Library of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Ayhan Tuğlu, for his cooperation initiatives and wished him success in his future endeavors.
