Vehid Geruslu, Professor of Software Engineering at Queen's University Belfast (QUB) in the United Kingdom, Honorary Visiting Professor at Azerbaijan Technical University, and a member of the World Association of Azerbaijani Scientists, has visited the Presidential Library.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place with Professor Afet Abbasova, Director of the Presidential Library, and Nazim Mustafa, PhD in History, Advisor to the Director of the Presidential Library.  The guest was provided with detailed information about the library's activities, its rich collections, and information resources, and opportunities for cooperation in the library and information field were discussed.

During the meeting, Professor Vehid Geruslu presented his books, titled "Quzey və Güney Azərbaycanda Kimlik: Romantik baxışdan analitik və praqmatik təhlilə: İki əsr ayrı qalmış bir xalqın kimlik təhlili" and "Azerbaijan, North and South: One People, Two Centuries of Separation, Shaped by Two Systems, Partial Assimilation, and Identity Spectrums," as a gift to the Presidential Library. The books explore the formation of identity in North and South Azerbaijan, the impacts of a two-century separation, and analytical approaches to identity. According to the author's own presentation, these works were developed based on more than 30 years of observations, interviews, and scientific research.

At the end of the meeting, Vehid Geruslu expressed his gratitude to the Presidential Library for the hospitality and attention shown. Professor Afet Abbasova, Director of the Presidential Library, thanked the author for these publications, which are rich in scientific and analytical content.
