The Public and Political Documents Archive of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has donated the books “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani National Culture. Theatre and Cinema. A Collection of Documents” and “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani National Culture. Musical Culture. A Collection of Documents” to the Presidential Library. 

The book “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani National Culture. Theatre and Cinema. A Collection of Documents” presents documents preserved in the holdings of the Public and Political Documents Archive of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan that reflect the state policy implemented in the fields of theatre and cinematography during the period when National Leader Heydar Aliyev headed Azerbaijan between 1969 and 1982. The collection is of significant value for the study of the development of national theatre and cinema, the priorities of cultural policy, and the mechanisms of state support in the cultural sphere.
