Meetings with scholars, intellectuals, and public figures continue as a tradition at the Presidential Library. Nazir Ahmadli, a Candidate of Sciences who has made exceptional contributions to the enrichment of Azerbaijani historiography and source studies, visited the Presidential Library, became acquainted with the work being done, and donated his books to the Library's collection.

Starting in the early 19th century, the Russian government conducted censuses that provided detailed information about the administrative-territorial divisions, management systems, socio-economic conditions, agriculture, tax systems, ownership forms, currency, units of measurement and weight, population size, and nationality. These cameral descriptions were compiled to aid in the administration of newly occupied territories and to manage the financial and tax systems.

Nazir Ahmadov is a chemist by profession, but over the years, he has placed significant effort and personal funds into obtaining materials from various census collections. He has translated these materials, organized them in a new design, and provided them for users along with a foreword. The majority of the cameral descriptions are stored in state archives in Iravan, while a smaller portion can be found in archives in Tiflis, St. Petersburg, and Baku.

Nazir Ahmadli is currently working as the head of the International Relations Department at the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan. He considers his work in addressing gaps in Azerbaijani source studies to be a personal duty towards his homeland. To date, his efforts have led to the publication of 25 types of recorded descriptions covering various administrative regions inhabited by Azerbaijanis, primarily based on the decisions of the Scientific Council of the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Nazir Ahmadli visited the Presidential Library and donated his recent publications to the library's collection. These include "Cameral Description of the Iravan Uyezd. 1873" (Baku, 2025), "Cameral Description of the Sharur-Daralayaz Uyezd. 1873" (Baku, 2024), "Cameral Description of the New Bayazid Uyezd. 1873" (Baku, 2024), "Cameral Description of the Karabakh Province. 1832-1833" (Baku, 2023), "Cameral Description of the Zangazur Uyezd. 1874" (Baku, 2022), and "Cameral Description of the Zangazur Mahal. 1832-1833" (Baku, 2021), along with their electronic versions.

The director of the Presidential Library, Professor Afet Abbasova, expressed gratitude to researcher and scientist Nazir Ahmadli for enriching the library's collection with his books and wished him success in his honorable mission.
