September 27 is observed as Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Patriotic War began on September 27, 2020, lasted 44 days, and ended in a historic Victory that restored Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. Remembrance Day is commemorated as an expression of deep respect for the martyrs who lost their lives in the Patriotic War and as a reminder of the significant place this war holds in Azerbaijan's history.

The Presidential Library has prepared a virtual exhibition titled "September 27 – An Eternal Mark in the History of the Motherland" to mark September 27 – Remembrance Day. The exhibition displays publications covering the history and course of the Patriotic War, the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, the Azerbaijani Army's combat path, the lives and heroic deeds of the martyrs, the liberated cities and regions, and the post-war period. One of the exhibition's key focuses is books dedicated to the lives and combat paths of the martyrs who lost their lives for the Motherland. The exhibition also features publications that reflect the socio-political and moral significance of the Victory, individual battles and heroes of the Patriotic War, the activities of military units, and the lives and combat paths of martyrs. These books cover various dimensions of the war and different aspects of that historical period.

On Remembrance Day, the Presidential Library has also prepared a video. The video highlights the historical significance of September 27 as the beginning of the Patriotic War and a crucial stage on the path to the Great Victory, as well as the Azerbaijani Army's combat path, the unity and solidarity of our people, and the selflessness of the martyrs. The video also presents the "Triumph of the Constitution and Sovereignty" electronic information resource prepared by the Presidential Library. This resource includes historical processes, official documents, and information materials related to the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and the full assurance of its sovereignty from September 27, 2020, to September 20, 2023.
