Honored journalist Ittifag Mirzabeyli donated his books to the Presidential Library

Meetings with scientists, intellectuals, and public figures at the Presidential Library have become a tradition. Honored journalist, poet, and publicist Ittifag Mirzabeyli visited the Presidential Library, got acquainted with the ongoing work, and donated his books to the Library’s collection.

Ittifag Mirzabeyli has been engaged in journalism for over 30 years, beginning his career in the late 1980s with the "Dalgha" newspaper and continuing with "Khalg Gazeti."

The songs written based on his words have been accepted into the gold archives of state radios in Baku, Tabriz, Tehran, and Istanbul. He has represented the "Khalg Gazeti" as a journalist in countries such as Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Northern Cyprus, and others.

He was awarded the "Herald of Humanism" prize from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (Geneva) in 1994, the title of "Best Journalist of the Year" in 1996, the "Master Artist" diploma in 1999, the "Hasan Bey Zardabi" diploma in 2003, and the honorary title of "Honored Journalist" in 2005.

The primary directions of Ittifag Mirzabeyli's creativity are the promotion of Azerbaijani statehood and highlighting the notable achievements and contributions of prominent personalities to readers.

The author donated the following books to the Presidential Library: “Unforgettable Editorial Office” (Baku, 2025), “Oath and Deed” (Baku, 2024), “Written about our editors-in-chief” (Baku, 2014). “Memories from the Master’s Life” (Baku, 2013), “Ahmad Bakikhanov in Memories” (Baku, 2012), “The Eternity of Gudsi” (Baku, 2011), “Textbook” (Baku, 2009), “The White Journey of Fortunes – Hajj” (Baku, 2006), “The Bridge of Friendship” (Baku, 2002), “Salaam, the Land of My Qiblah...” (Baku, 2002), “I Have Traveled Baghdad and Came...” (Baku, 2001), and“Father, Where Are You Going?” (Baku, 1997).

Director of the Presidential Library, Professor Afet Abbasova, thanked Honored Journalist Ittifag Mirzabeyli for further enriching the Library's collection with his variety of books and wished him success in his scientific, journalistic, and artistic endeavors.
