The "Rare Books Collection" subsection of the "Collections" section of the Presidential Library has been enhanced with new publications. Ten valuable items, carefully chosen from the Collection’s existing holdings, were set aside for display and shown to a broad audience.

Among these publications are rare books like J. Girardin’s "The Novel of a Dunce" ("Le Roman d’un Cancre") (Paris, 1883), Roger Peyre's "Napoleon and His Era. The Empire" ("Napoléon et son temps. L'Empire") (Paris, 1896), and "Монархия Турецкая, описанная через Рикота, бывшего английского секретаря посольства при Оттоманской Порте" ("The Turkish Monarchy / Described through Ricot of the former Aglin Secretary of the Embassy to the Ottoman Porte") (St. Petersburg, 1741).

These selected publications, available in Russian, English, German, and French, cover topics in literature, art, history, and various scientific and humanitarian fields. Each publication includes brief annotations in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English, ensuring that the materials are accessible to speakers of different languages.

These publications are noteworthy as valuable examples of book art, distinguished by their content, original printing design, and bibliographic significance.

This initiative is another example of the purposeful efforts undertaken by the Presidential Library to preserve, research, and digitize rare cultural heritage for broader public access.
