The Presidential Library Fund has been enriched with a new edition that represents significant public and cultural interest.   The book, entitled “It Started with IDEA”, authored by the renowned journalist and professor Vagif Abdullayev, was gifted to the library by the author himself.

The publication is devoted to the multifaceted public and creative activities of Leyla Aliyeva – the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and editor-in-chief of the Baku magazine, and founder and chair of the Public Association IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action).

The book extensively covers projects initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, including systematic work in the field of environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, ecological education and awareness. Special attention is also paid to her efforts to present the truth about Azerbaijan to the international community, as well as diplomatic and cultural initiatives carried out in this direction.

A separate section of the book is dedicated to Leyla Aliyeva’s artistic creations. Readers are presented with her poems, demonstrating that she is not only an active public figure, but also possesses a refined poetic taste.

The book “It Started with IDEA” is not just a journalistic work, but also a valuable socio-scientific source on issues of youth leadership and civic responsibility in modern times.

The addition of this publication to the Presidential Library’s fund will enrich its collection of socio-political and journalistic resources and create new opportunities for reader research.
