On April 30, 2025, a presentation of the book “Welcome to Azerbaijan” by Doctor of Philology, Professor Masmakhanim Gaziyeva, took place at the Presidential Library of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The presentation was organized as part of a series of events held within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”.

The event was opened by Afet Abbasova, the director of the President's Library and a professor, who shared her memories of the author. She emphasized the importance of recognizing her invaluable contributions over the years in scientific research and the promotion of national and spiritual values. She also noted that this publication significantly introduces Azerbaijan's rich culture, history, and contemporary development to an international audience.

A specially prepared video showcasing Masmakhanim Gaziyeva’s life and work was presented, highlighting key aspects of her pedagogical and scientific contributions to the participants during the event.

In the first part of the event, writer Azima Aghalarova, honored teacher Shahla Asgarova, and associate professor Kamala Jafarova from the Department of Linguoculturology at Azerbaijan University of Languages emphasized the significant role that Professor Gaziyeva's knowledge, hard work, and moral support played in their development.

In the second part of the presentation, the Rector of Baku Business University, Professor Ibad Abbasov, along with deputies of the Milli Majlis Gunay Afandiyeva, Aydin Mirzazadeh, and Hikmat Babaoghlu, as well as professors Sayali Sadigova and Bahar Jafarova, Vice-Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Vazeh Asgarov, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of "Bakinskiy rabochiy" newspaper, Abulfaz Babazadeh, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Nigar Rustamova, and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Honored Teacher Asaf Zamanov, emphasized that the book "Welcome to Azerbaijan" serves as a comprehensive, objective, and engaging presentation of Azerbaijani reality. They noted that this publication significantly contributes to the efforts to promote our country in the international information space.

The speakers also emphasized that the book is intended for a broad readership and is a comprehensive and analytical resource covering our country's history, geography, political and legal structure, education and healthcare systems, religious diversity, arts, folklore, and traditions.

Professor Masmakhanim Gaziyeva expressed her satisfaction with the high-level organization of such a valuable event and the broad public interest it generated. She conveyed her profound gratitude to the management of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Presidential Library for their support and hospitality.
