The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum presented the Presidential Library with the publication "Happiness in Carpets: 10 Reasons Why a Carpet Can Make You Happy." The book is authored by Amina Malikova, who has been working consistently for many years to research and promote the Azerbaijani carpet heritage and serves as the director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.

The publication transcends traditional scientific and historical approaches to the Azerbaijani carpet, focusing on its connection with human emotions, public memory, and everyday life. The author introduces carpet art as a thoughtful response to history and creativity by a nation aware of their heritage and cultural responsibility. While maintaining the scientific and artistic foundations, the book explains the human and emotional meaning of the carpet in a broader and more readable context.

The book outlines 10 main reasons why Azerbaijani carpets have a strong emotional impact on people. These reasons are based on feelings that naturally form in various social environments. Drawing on personal memories, the author guides the reader through a series of recollections and associations, illustrating how carpets are linked to concepts such as joy, hope, love, and abundance.

The publication includes a review of relevant literature, as well as stories about the author's family and close circle, Azerbaijani proverbs, and references to classic examples. Additionally, it features observations based on interviews with children participating in art therapy programs at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, as well as with inmates engaged in weaving activities in the country's only female prison.
