A virtual exhibition titled "Novruz Holiday" has been launched at the Presidential Library, dedicated to Novruz, one of the oldest and most cherished holidays of the Azerbaijani people.
The exhibition is dedicated to Novruz, a significant component of the Azerbaijani people's rich historical and cultural heritage. Symbolizing the arrival of spring, the awakening of nature, and the beginning of the new year, Novruz has, over centuries, been shaped into an important holiday that preserves the national-spiritual values, unity, and solidarity of our people.
The exhibition presents publications reflecting the historical roots of Novruz, its stages of origin and development, and its place in the worldview and cultural life of the people. Concurrently, the exhibition features books that provide information on the meanings and symbolic content of the four Charshanbas (Tuesdays) – Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth – as well as the rich folk customs and traditions associated with the holiday.
The publications presented at the virtual exhibition facilitate a deeper study of the historical and cultural significance of the Novruz holiday, as well as the ancient beliefs and traditions of our people. The exhibition serves as a valuable source of information for a broad audience, offering insights into the national-spiritual values of Novruz, its place in our nation's cultural memory, and the customs and traditions preserved over centuries.
