An exhibition titled "October 17 - Fuzuli City Day" has been organized at the Presidential Library
October 17, the 21st day of the 2020 Patriotic War, is remembered as a significant day in Azerbaijani military history. On that day, the valiant Azerbaijani Army, under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, liberated the city of Fuzuli and the surrounding villages from Armenian occupation.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated July 31, 2023, October 17 is celebrated as "Fuzuli City Day." In connection with this significant historical event, a book exhibition dedicated to the liberation of the city of Fuzuli from occupation and its history and cultural heritage has been organized at the Presidential Library.
The exhibition features publications dedicated to the history and culture of the Fuzuli region, the period of occupation, and the reconstruction efforts following liberation, as well as books reflecting the victory achieved in the Patriotic War.
The exhibition holds particular significance in instilling a spirit of patriotism and preserving the historical memory of our liberated territories.
