Two important publications dedicated to advancing legal science have been donated to the Presidential Library by Zaur Aliyev, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Baku State University, who holds a PhD in law and is an associate professor. These works—“Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Development of Legal Science” and “Baku State University Faculty of Law – 95: 1928–2023”—are particularly significant for understanding the formation of legal thought and for retrospective analysis of the national legal school.

The first of these publications, titled "The Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Development of Legal Science," is a systematic research study that scientifically examines the contributions of the national leader to legal theory and legal education. Comprising six chapters, the work extensively analyzes Heydar Aliyev's legal reforms, his historical role in the adoption of the Constitution, the formation of human rights science, and his contributions to the development of legal doctrine and education. The book also includes the Great Leader's views on these topics and notable quotes regarding law and education. The final section offers a detailed analysis of the continuation of the Great Leader's legacy, President Ilham Aliyev's successful policies, and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva's mission of goodwill.

The second edition, "Baku State University Faculty of Law – 95: 1928-2023," highlights BSU’s significant position in legal education and covers its historical development over 95 years. The work provides a detailed account of the stages of development the faculty has undergone since its establishment, the reforms implemented at various times, the contributions of notable scholars, and the role of its graduates in the state and legal system.

Including both publications in the Presidential Library's collection is a significant scientific and informational resource for legal professionals, researchers, and students. This initiative is important for the preservation of legal heritage and the advancement of contemporary legal science.
