Nazim Mammadov, a leading research associate in the Department of Karabakh History at the A.A. Bakikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology of ANAS and a doctor of historical sciences, has donated his book titled "Heydar Aliyev and the Development Strategy of Karabakh (Late 1960s - Early 1980s)", published in English, to the Presidential Library.
 
The publication provides a comprehensive examination of the history of Karabakh, an integral part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. The author systematically analyzes the social-political, economic, and cultural processes of this period, offering the reader an overall picture of that phase.

The book particularly highlights the period that began in 1969 with the arrival of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the leadership of the republic.
