A presentation was held for the unveiling of a website dedicated to the history of the city of Iravan

On May 17, 2013, a presentation of the website www.iravan.info in the Azerbaijani and Russian languages took place at the Presidential Library.
The opening words of the presentation were given by the director of the library, Mail Ahmadov. He emphasized that the electronic resource "Iravan City," made available to readers, is dedicated to the city of Iravan - one of the ancient scientific, cultural, and religious centers of Azerbaijan. The work "Iravan City," written by the head of our library's department and at the same time research associate of Institute of History, Nazim Mustafa, serves as a significant response to those who falsify history. It shows, with references to sources, where and when Armenians arrived on the historical lands of Azerbaijan, and how they seized lands belonging to Azerbaijanis. This electronic resource presents specific facts showing how material and cultural monuments belonging to Azerbaijanis in the city of Iravan were erased by Armenian vandals or misrepresented as historical-architectural monuments belonging to other nations.
Later, Nazim Mustafa provided participants of the event with detailed information about the website created based on his work "Iravan City," noting that the materials are grouped into 31 sections. About 300 literary works were used in writing the piece, with approximately one third being introduced into scholarly circulation for the first time.
