On June 9, 2016, the presentation of the full-text electronic publication "Mehriban Aliyeva. The Activities of Azerbaijan's First Lady in the Press" was held at the Presidential Library. 
Speaking at the event, Director of the Presidential Library Mayil Ahmadov stated that Mehriban Aliyeva, in her roles as the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Member of the Milli Majlis, and Goodwill Ambassador, has made significant contributions to the socio-political and socio-cultural life of our country. She has played a vital role in promoting Azerbaijani culture internationally, safeguarding our tangible and intangible heritage, and taking charitable and humanitarian initiatives. It was noted that the electronic publication features selected materials in the Azerbaijani language from AZƏRTAC, approximately 100 newspapers and magazines, subscribed to by the Presidential Library, and other mass media, covering Mehriban Aliyeva's diverse activities from 1995, when she began her tenure as head of the Azerbaijani Culture Friends Foundation, to the present day.
President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Akif Alizadeh; Deputy Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Arastu Habibbeyli; Editor-in-Chief of the "Yeni Azərbaycan" newspaper, Member of the Milli Majlis, Hikmat Babaoghlu; Head of the “SƏS” Media Group, Bahruz Guliyev; Director of the Azerbaijan National Library, Karim Tahirov; Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zakir Hashimov; and others discussed the significance of the newly presented electronic publication, the diverse activities of First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the projects carried out under her leadership in culture, healthcare, science, education, sports, ecology, and other domains, her efforts to promote Azerbaijan's positive image globally, and her role in preserving the traditions of multiculturalism in our country.
