In order to highlight and promote the historical path of Azerbaijani diplomacy, the Presidential Library has developed and presented to internet users a digital project entitled “Azerbaijani Diplomacy”. This project plays a significant role in studying and promoting the traditions of Azerbaijani statehood, state symbols and attributes, as well as the history of diplomacy — a special chapter of our national statehood. The sections “General Information” and “History of Diplomacy” provide materials on the main stages of the history of Azerbaijani diplomacy, from ancient times to the present day — including the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the Soviet era, and the period of independence. The project also includes documents and materials related to the settlement of the Armenia–Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The “Conventions” section contains the full texts of treaties, agreements, and conventions to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party. The “E-Resources” section provides electronic versions of books in Azerbaijani and Russian preserved in the library’s collection, as well as full-text articles selected from newspapers and journals. The “Bibliography” section presents a comprehensive list of books, newspaper and journal articles, and dissertation abstracts on foreign policy, international relations, and diplomacy available in the Presidential Library’s collection.
