Prominent scholar and professor Aida Imanguliyeva has made significant contributions to the development of Azerbaijani oriental studies and has represented this field commendably beyond our republic. Her deep theoretical knowledge, analytical thinking, extensive erudition, and proficiency in several Eastern and Western languages have earned her wide recognition for her research and publications, not only in the former Soviet Union but also in many foreign countries. Aida Khanum, who lived a brief yet meaningful life, is still remembered today as an orientalist scholar, an experienced educator, an intellectual woman, a kind person, and a devoted mother.
