Garabagh is Azerbaijan!

Virtual Exhibition

Garabagh is one of the most ancient and beautiful regions of Azerbaijan. The cradle of Azerbaijani poetry and music, Garabagh, is the eternal land of the Republic of Azerbaijan and its inseparable part. Garabagh is the homeland of many prominent Azerbaijani scientists, writers, poets, artists, and musicians. The word "Garabagh", which the Azerbaijani people gave to a part of their native land, first appeared in the sources as early as 1300 years ago (from the 7th century!). Garabagh initially referred to a specific location as a historical-geographical concept, later denoting a wider geographical territory within Azerbaijan. In 2020, during the 44-day Patriotic War, our brave army, led by our Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, defeated the enemy and liberated Garabagh, a legacy of our ancestors. Garabagh, liberated from occupation, is currently undergoing reconstruction, areas being cleared of mines, and extensive restoration and rebuilding efforts are underway. Our library has created a virtual exhibition of books about Garabagh in various languages.
