Die Schriften des Waldschulmeisters

A rare collection of selected works by the renowned Austrian writer and publicist Peter Rosegger (1843-1918), published in Leipzig, in 1911, in the German language with exquisite artistic design. The edition includes writings grouped under the title “Essays of a Rural Teacher” – a persona which the author often assumed in his autobiographical and journalistic texts. Rosegger became famous as a poet who delicately portrayed rural life, folk customs, moral and spiritual quests of the common man.
