Livländisches Sagenbuch (The Livonian Book of Legends) is a collection of folk tales, legends, and traditional narratives from historical Livonia, compiled by the German historian and folklorist Friedrich Bienemann. Published in Reval in 1897 in German, the volume presents myths and legends about medieval castles, ancient towns, knights, nature spirits, and events associated with the history of the Baltic region. The publication is of considerable historical and cultural value, preserving the rich folklore of Livonia and reflecting the folk traditions, beliefs, and worldviews of the late nineteenth century.
