The Presidential Library's collection has received another valuable gift. Nushaba Babayeva-Vakilova, head of the Vagif Samadoghlu Center and wife of the renowned poet Vagif Samadoghlu, donated 25 copies of 24 books in various languages, authored by Yusif Samadoghlu and Vagif Samadoghlu, as well as written about these creative figures, to the library.
The donated publications include books featuring Vagif Samadoglu's poems, as well as his artistic and journalistic writings, along with scientific works that explore his creative journey and literary personality. They also contain copies of Yusif Samadoglu's novels and short stories published in various languages. These publications are particularly significant as valuable sources that showcase the international recognition of the creative heritage of prominent representatives of Samad Vurghun's generation, bringing together works published in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and other foreign languages.
These books provide extensive opportunities to examine the main features of the work of both Vagif and Yusif Samadoghlu, their roles in the literary environment, and their contribution to the development of Azerbaijani literature. The publications have been organized within the relevant collections of the Presidential Library. They are accessible to researchers, university teachers, students, and literature enthusiasts, making them now available to the public. These publications aim to support the scholarly study of the Samadoghlu family's rich literary legacy and facilitate new analytical research.
The leadership of the Presidential Library expresses its gratitude to Nushaba Babayeva-Vakilova for her attention and kindness. It views the presentation of these publications, preserved in the family archive, for public access as a vital step in passing on the national literary heritage to future generations. Such gifts enhance access to the works of notable figures in both classical and modern Azerbaijani literature, providing readers with the opportunity to explore their work more thoroughly through sources.
