A presentation ceremony for the book “Abulfaz Babazadeh in the Press Mirror”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press, was held at the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan. The event was attended by representatives of the country’s scientific and cultural community, prominent intellectuals, media professionals, and journalists. 

The concept author and compiler of the publication is Sonakhanim Abasova, Head of the Library-Bibliographic Services Section of the Presidential Library of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The book presents the bibliography of approximately 1,400 articles and interviews published in the press between 1999 and 2025 by the well-known journalist, researcher, and cultural scholar, Japanologist Abulfaz Babazadeh. The collection also highlights the author’s creative path, his contributions to journalism and cultural studies, as well as reflections on Babazadeh by prominent figures of the country’s academic and cultural community.
 
The publication is regarded both as a chronicle that systematically reflects the journalist’s multifaceted activity and as an important source that, through documentary evidence, makes it possible to trace the dynamics of the development of the Azerbaijani press and the changes in the public intellectual landscape over the past 25 years.

During the presentation, Abulfaz Babazadeh’s teachers, longtime colleagues, media experts, cultural and art figures, as well as representatives of various state institutions and leading press outlets, delivered remarks, sharing their views on his professionalism, scholarly-analytical style, the significance of his journalistic legacy, and the exemplary directions he offers for young journalists.
   
As part of the event, information was provided on the book’s preparation process, the scope of the bibliography, the innovative approaches Abulfaz Babazadeh introduced to Azerbaijani journalism, and the significance of his cultural studies. It was emphasized that the publication will serve as an important and valuable information resource for future researchers and media professionals.
