A meeting was held at the Presidential Library with Almaz Ulvi Binnatova, a writer, publicist, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Navoi scholar, and researcher and promoter of Uzbek literature. The guest donated not only her own publications but also works translated by other authors to the Library.
Almaz Ulvi Binnatova has dedicated nearly 30 years of her academic career primarily to studying Uzbek literature in Azerbaijan. Her scholarly works include monographs on the creativity of Alisher Navoi, research on the historical issues of Azerbaijani-Uzbek literary connections, studies in Eastern biographical literature, and investigations related to Babur's legacy, as well as over 250 articles. She is also one of the authors of the "Azerbaijani-Uzbek / Uzbek-Azerbaijani" dictionary, which consists of 25,000 words.
The publications donated to the library cover a broad spectrum of topics, including the poetic and philosophical layers of Navoi's heritage and classical Eastern literature, the history of Azerbaijani-Uzbek literary connections, issues of literary criticism and linguistics, journalism on the topic of Karabakh, as well as publications related to local history. This collection serves as a rich and valuable resource for both researchers and a wide audience interested in literature.
The director of the Presidential Library, Professor Afet Abbasova, has regarded the publications donated by Almaz Ulvi Binnatova as a valuable contribution to the scientific and thematic richness of the library's collection and wished the author success in her future scientific and creative endeavors.
