A new publication titled “The Role of the First Turkological Congress in the Development of Turkological Thought in the Contemporary Era” authored by Professor Mahira Huseynova, Vice-Rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, has been added to the collection of the Presidential Library.

The publication examines the scientific and historical significance of the First Turkological Congress, held in Baku in 1926. The book systematically presents the transcript of discussions spanning from the inaugural to the final session of the Congress. Furthermore, it analyzes the scholarly work conducted in the field of Turkology in Azerbaijan prior to the Congress, as well as the impact of this prestigious scientific assembly on the subsequent development of the discipline.
