Writer, publicist, Turkologist, and journalist Yunus Oghuz has donated 49 copies of 24 books to the Presidential Library.
The donated works span the author's historical, literary, and journalistic creativity. The books illuminate the history of Turkic peoples from ancient to medieval times, the formation of statehood traditions, the Safavid and Atabey periods, and the activities of figures such as Genghis Khan, Tamerlane, Attila, and Nader Shah, based on artistic narratives and historical facts. The author's essays, feuilletons, and plays focus on social processes, issues of national identity, and historical memory. Among the publications is a multi-volume work by Ibn Hisham, which reflects significant stages in Islamic history, "The Life of the Prophet."
The enhancement of the library collection with these publications provides additional scholarly resources for experts conducting research in history, literature, and public thought, as well as students at higher education institutions. Historical novels and journalistic texts facilitate systematic study of events from various periods, while multi-volume religious and historical sources are particularly significant for familiarization with primary materials.
The Presidential Library expresses its gratitude to Yunus Oghuz for the valuable publications and considers this initiative an important step in promoting the national literary and historical heritage.
