On November 5, 2021, on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of Shusha, the ancient cultural center of Azerbaijan, from the occupation of the Armenian army, the Presidential Library presented an electronic project titled "Shusha" and an extensive photo exhibition dedicated to the city of Shusha.
The project, available in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian, consists of 6 chapters and 23 subsections. The first chapter, titled "History," highlights significant points in the history of Shusha from its founding to the present day. The chapter "Socio-cultural life" provides detailed information about the demographic dynamics, ethnic composition, and cultural activities of the city's population up until its occupation in 1992. The "Prominent figures" chapter features biographical information on prominent figures from Shusha in science, education, culture, art, music, literature, and the military in Azerbaijan. The "Documents" section compiles the texts of important documents related to Shusha from the period of Russian occupation to the present. In the chapters "E-resources" and "Bibliography," both the electronic versions and bibliographic entries of the articles and books in the library's collection are presented in chronological order.
