- The book considers and discusses the radiation and thermal effects in aluminium amd beryllium oxides, caused by the effect of preliminary heat treatment amd gamma radiation. The results of experimental studies of the influence of thermal tretment (T = 1270-1750 K) and γ-radiation on spectroscopic (IR, DTIR and Raman), luminescent and dielectric properties of BeO are prrsented. The observed anomalies are discussed in the framework of the model of the fluctuation restructuring of the structure.
