The textbook examines operatic works by Azerbaijani composers that are devoted to historical and heroic themes. The study includes analyses of operas based on heroic epics, revolutionary subject matter, the events of the Great Patriotic War, as well as works dedicated to the Karabakh tragedy of the contemporary historical period. This textbook is intended for use in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions in courses such as History of Music, Music Theory, History of Azerbaijani Music, and Opera Dramaturgy, and is designed for teachers and students engaged in the field of musicology.
