The book is dedicated to the Tabriz carpet group as part of the project "Azerbaijani Carpets with all Schools". Continuing the traditions of previous publications dedicated to the Karabakh and Iravan groups of Azerbaijani carpets, it comprehensively examines the distinctive features of Tabriz carpet group. The book pays attention to the history and achievements in the field of culture of South Azerbaijan, providing a general description of Tabriz carpet group. High-quality photographs of 89 rare carpets, stored in a special collection, descriptions of the characteristic elements of each carpet, their art historical assessment, presented in conjunction with translations of the inscriptions of corresponding carpets, make up the main part of the book. The work is based on the most modern research methods in the field of world carpet weaving.
