Latvija is the only country in Europe where half the land is covered with forests- clean, stately, green pine, fir birch, oak and aspen forests. In Latvija untouched wetlands with flora and fauna unique in Europe have been preserved. The summer in Latvija is warm and sunny, very rarely reaching more than 30 degrees C- in Latvija it is not hot. Latvian winters are mild, rich in snow, but not too cold.
